So you’ve finally found your dream home, the one that checks all your boxes and is in the perfect location. You’re ready to put an offer in, especially because your real estate agent told you that the home is priced to sell.
Should you A) listen to your real estate agent on offer strategy or B) underbid since the seller is obviously wanting to sell the home?
Choosing A and going with a strong offer strategy from your real estate agent is the most likely way to score your dream home. If you underbid, you’re likely to meet some competition from other buyers and risk offending the seller.
If you really want the house, work with your real estate agent to come up with the most successful offer strategy. Remember, you can also ask the seller for concessions during the negotiations–the purchase price isn’t the only thing you have to work with!
